The Long History Behind Some Of These Logos
A lot of the big company logos out there have their own history to them so I thought it would be a good idea to post some of the best ones.
The Big Whopper- Burger King
Burger King is of course one of the most famous burger establishments in the world serving millions of people everyday. The first logo actually featured two big burger buns with Burger King in red lettering in between them both. The logo that had lived through 30 years had to be changed in 1999. The buns have now been turned on their sides and there is now a big blue swirl going through the outside.
Pepsi
The creator of Pepsi was Caleb Bradham which is why when the drink first started out it was known as Brad’s Drink. He has created this drink to serve his customers at his drug store. The name Pepsi-Cola was used later to define the company. The logo will always follow competiors simply because they are usually ahead of them. There have been many slogans that Pepsi have used over the years, here are just a couple:
1909-1939 Delicious and Healthful
A Day? Have a Pepsi Day 1975-1978
Pepsi Now- 1983
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola has to be one of the most recognised brands in the world and the logo is exactly the same. Many people do not know this but Coca-Cola is the most popular as well as biggest selling soft drink in the world and was created in Atlanta by Dr. John S Pemberton. This drink actually started out as a fountain drink which of course means the syrup was mixed with carbonated water. Many people say that this is still the best way to enjoy Coca-Cola. The colour red means a number of things one is danger and the other main one is success which could be why Coca-Cola used it.
Custom logo design is very important for a business in the same way that business flyers are.
Logos appear on everything from letterheads to compliment slip design so they are very important to a company.
