What will my child do at a Pony Club meeting?
Meetings are normally designated as “mounted” or “unmounted”, and are held twice a month on Saturdays. mounted meetings, members ride their ponies, but you probably won’t see them just trotting around in an arena very often. What sizes does the Pee Wee Bit come in?
All Quarter Horses, Arabians, Thoroughbreds and most Warmbloods require the standard size. Large size for the Draft and Draft Cross.For more than two horses, yes. For a two-horse trailer, a tag-along trailer is just a safe as a gooseneck trailer if it is properly hitched to the proper tow vehicle. The advantages of a tag-along include cost, ability to be towed by something other than a pick-up truck, and a smaller size for storing and hauling. If you do not need the extra space for sleeping or tack/feed storage, the extra expense for a gooseneck trailer may not be necessary.In the trade we work on 1mtr (33″) for each horse, and 600 cm (24″) for ponies. These sizes are for guidance only. A comfortable day living would need 6′-0″ (1.8mtr). A toilet/shower or tack area could be fitted into 3′-0″ (90cm).

My horse is trained to neck-rein; how does the Bitless Bridle work with neck-reining?
Neck reining is a “taught” response. When the horse feels the rein on one side of the neck, it is taught to turn to the opposite. There is a very slight and subtle pressure applied to the bit on the same side as the rein is touching, but because this pressure is so subtle, the horse is trained to ignore it. What are shows?
During the summer holidays there are local shows every weekend throughout Devon. They range from small village affairs up to the Devon County Show (Exeter), Mid-Devon Show (Tiverton) and the Tiverton Horse Show. clear round jumping (easy course, good for practice, winner is the one with the most clear rounds during the day) Programmes for shows tend to appear about 6 weeks in advance, available in local saddleries, feed suppliers, and horsey shops generally.The equestrian center will consist of a 50-stall barn, indoor and outdoor arenas, turn-out space, classrooms, 400 stall barn, with tack storage, for show guests, restrooms, cafeteria, horse bathing area, and possibly retail store space.During rallies, each team is required to set up a complete and organized stable containing all the necessary gear.
